Why Are We Here?

We are here...

To BECOME authentically: Each soul is divinely place on earth to establish itself. Through our experiences, we choose in each moment who we are and wish to be. This opportunity is most positively-effective when we realize that we are in control of ourselves and our intentions are the gears directing us as we navigate our lives. God placed each of us on earth with love and with this directive: Show me, show yourself, show each soul who you are by becoming it as you live.

To CREATE compassionately: Each soul is a vessel with which creation can jointly-work to build on the earth. We are capable of building (creating) many forms of art: smiles, laughter, opportunities, justice, peace, hope... an endless array of light in places of darkness. How we create and what we create is beautifully, endlessly varied but why we create should not be. We should create, use what talents we possess to put new things, ideas and opportunities in the earth to help and heal humanity.

To IMPACT purposefully: Each soul has the potential to influence and edify humanity. Once we establish ourselves, our passions and our values, we have the potential to utilize those things to inspire humanity around us. Our small, seemingly unnoticeable kindnesses are as impactful and imperative as our large ones. How people feel after interacting with us or something we put into the world sets a new tone inside of them which will be carried throughout their day, week, month, year, and life. You are a stone, carefully thrown into the waters and your ripples impact the earth. We are here to be purposeful with that opportunity.

To FULFILL productively: Each soul has the blessed opportunity to be a catalyst of compassion in every moment of their life. God loves and cheers for us to realize and utilize our potential. We are entrusted with so much. We are capable of so much; we each possess different talents, ideas, hopes, dreams, abilities. We are here to fulfill the massive potential God believes we have.

To LOVE emphatically: Each soul has the capacity for universes of love. Our ultimate purpose here is to express love and to receive it. We have an endless source from which to derive love: our Loving God. His greatest imploration throughout the Bible is for us to love.
Mark 12:30-31 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
John 13:34-35 A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
John 15:12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
1 Peter 4:8 Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.
1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
Romans 12:10 “Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.”
To SUBMIT our autonomy: to return control to God, who puts all things and people back into order.
